Musiclab already in third generation

Thursday, August 10, 2023

The digital project "Music Lab - Join the sound," launched by the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen's social initiative Zukunftslabor (Future Lab), which has already won several awards, and supported by dm-drogerie markt GmbH + Co. KG, has long since been named an impulse generator throughout Germany.

The idea: Music Lab connects people in times of Corona-related "social distancing" and makes common music possible for everyone. Setting a sign of cohesion and joy even in difficult times, the project is developing more and more into a national movement of the art and culture scene.

In addition to the professional musicians of the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, Moop Mama, Iggi Kelly, Flowin Immo and others invite children, young people and adults to participate in the joint creation of digital musical works, despite the limited opportunities for direct encounters.
However, the artistic activity is one thing, the digital implementation, which makes it possible to bring the project results to people's homes online, is another.

Music Lab cooperation already in the third edition

This is where Filmflut comes into play at Music Lab. The young filmmakers create music videos, which are then given a stage in the digital space.
Starting today, April 30, 2021, the time has come again. The third edition of the Future Lab's split-screen orchestra project is celebrating its premiere.

At http://www.musiclab-joint hesound.com/ about 500 children, young people, adults of different levels of professionalism playing music together can be marveled at and listened to in the finale of William Tell - Overture by Gioachino Rossini.
FILMFLUT has again, supported by Arcantus Musikproduktion and the freelance cultural worker Jan Lange, implemented the technical-visual-acoustic project component.

From Saturday, May 1, 2021, Music Lab will then already go into the next round, for which all the necessary information can be found on the Music Lab website: "The Coming of the Queen of Sheba" by G.F. Händel. Once again, anyone who is interested can take part.

True to the motto of the makers:inside of the cooperative digital initiative:
"Don't let the cheerfulness of spring and your creativity be driven away, stay healthy and hang in there!"
